Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of NoPrompt ("we", "us"). You accept them when you tick "I agree to the Terms of Service" and create an account. If you do not accept them, do not use NoPrompt. The Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data.
Who can use NoPrompt
You must be at least 13 years old, and older where your country sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this without a parent's consent. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
You need an Apple or Google account to sign in. One account per person, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. You may not use NoPrompt if we have closed an account of yours for breaking these terms, or if the law where you are forbids it.
How posting works
These are product rules, and they are enforced rather than aspirational:
- Camera only. Posts and stories can only be captured in the app. There is no gallery upload for them. Your profile photo is the single exception.
- No filters or editing. The app provides no editing tools for posts or stories.
- Retake data is permanent. The take count and capture time recorded when you take a photo are displayed with it and cannot be edited afterwards, by you or by us.
- Stories expire. A story is removed 24 hours after it was captured.
Deliberately working around the camera-only rule — for example by pointing the camera at another screen to post a generated or downloaded image — defeats the purpose of the app and we may remove content or suspend accounts for it.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. We do not claim ownership of your photos, captions or comments.
So that we can run NoPrompt, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display what you post and your profile, only to show it to the people your settings allow, together with its take count and times. The licence covers the technical changes needed to do that — resizing, compressing, making thumbnails and removing location metadata — and lets the providers that host and deliver NoPrompt for us, named in the Privacy Policy, do the same on our behalf. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models, and we do not sell or license it to anyone.
The licence ends when the content is erased: a story 24 hours after it was captured, and a deleted post, comment or account at the end of its 30-day window. It continues only for copies other people have already made, such as screenshots, and for anything we must keep for legal or safety reasons.
You keep any moral rights you have in your photos. You agree that the technical changes above do not infringe them, as far as the law lets you agree to that.
You confirm that you took what you post yourself, that you have the right to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. If someone else can be recognised in your photo, make sure they are happy for it to be shared, and take it down if they ask.
What is not allowed
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post, or use NoPrompt for:
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation of any kind, or any content that sexualises a minor (see Child safety).
- Nudity or sexual content, of anyone.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeting an individual for abuse, and sharing someone's private information or intimate images.
- Hate speech, or attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
- Graphic violence, or content that threatens, promotes or glorifies violence.
- Content that encourages suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Content that is illegal where you are, that promotes illegal acts, or that infringes someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights.
- Posting someone else's photo as your own, or impersonating anyone.
- Spam, scams, advertising, or fake engagement.
- Automated access, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to bypass technical restrictions or to overload the service.
- Creating a new account to get around a suspension.
Reporting and enforcement
You can report a post, story, comment or account from inside the app, choosing a reason. You can also block anyone; blocking is mutual and immediate, and removes any existing friendship between you.
Two things happen automatically. Usernames, display names, bios, captions and comments containing offensive words are refused when you submit them. And a post, story or comment reported for child safety is hidden from everyone but its author at once; one that two different people report, for any reason, is hidden the same way while it waits for review.
A person reviews every report. We aim to review reports within 24 hours, and child-safety reports within hours. If the item breaks these terms or the law, we remove it — its photos are deleted from storage at once — and we may suspend the account that posted it, for a time or for good. If it does not, we release it. If something suggests a threat to someone's life or safety, we tell the police.
When we remove your content or suspend your account, we tell you why, by email where we have an address for you, unless that would put someone at risk or the law forbids it. If you think we got it wrong, write to hi@engineeredby.ai within six months of the decision: a person will look at it again and tell you the outcome. This does not affect your right to go to court.
To tell us about content you believe is illegal, report it in the app, or email hi@engineeredby.ai with where it is (the username, and which post or comment), why you believe it is illegal, your name and email address, and a statement that you believe in good faith that your notice is accurate and complete. You may leave out your name and email address when reporting child sexual abuse material. We confirm that we received your notice and tell you what we decided.
Our single point of contact for users and for authorities, including under the EU Digital Services Act, is hi@engineeredby.ai. We correspond in English.
Child safety
NoPrompt prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form: sexual images or videos of minors, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or contact that sexualises a child. These are our published child safety standards.
Report it in the app with the reason Child safety. The item is hidden at once and reviewed within hours. We remove it, suspend the account that posted it, and report it to the authorities where the law requires. Our child safety point of contact is hi@engineeredby.ai. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app. It is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after 30 days, along with your posts, stories, comments, likes and images. You can cancel within those 30 days by signing in again. After that it is gone and cannot be restored. See how to delete your account, including without the app.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using NoPrompt at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close your account, or remove your access, if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly, if the law requires it, or if your use of NoPrompt puts other people or the service at risk. A suspended account is hidden from everyone and cannot be used. Where it is reasonable we tell you why, as described under Reporting and enforcement, and you can ask us to look again. When an account is closed, its content is removed from NoPrompt and erased as the Privacy Policy describes.
We may change NoPrompt or stop offering it. If we decide to close it, we will tell you in the app beforehand where we reasonably can.
Sections that by their nature should survive the end of this agreement do so: the licence for copies already made, the disclaimers and limits on liability, and Governing law and disputes.
The app is provided as it is
NoPrompt is free, and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change or discontinue features, and we do not promise that NoPrompt will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that anything you post will be preserved.
Content in the app comes from other people. We do not endorse it and we are not responsible for it. Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded where you live.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of NoPrompt, and our total liability to you for all claims relating to NoPrompt is limited to 100 euros.
We do not limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law there permits.
If you break these terms and someone brings a claim against us as a result, you are responsible for the reasonable losses that causes us, as far as the law allows.
Governing law and disputes
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings in its courts.
If you have a problem with NoPrompt, write to hi@engineeredby.ai first. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use NoPrompt after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
Contact
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for NoPrompt or its content. If you got the app from Apple's App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
